Park Slope Gallery is an independent art gallery located in a 19th century brownstone in historic Park Slope, Brooklyn. In business since 1984, we endeavor to offer a wide selection of art spanning two centuries, many media, numerous styles, and different levels of affordability.
We represent the estate of Leon Bibel, an important WPA artist whose work evolved from social realism to an explosion of styles in paint and wood in the 60’s and 70’s.
We represent George Forss, a gifted New York photographer whose black and white silver gelatin prints from the 1970’s to the early 2000’s reflect the stunning beauty…and the changes…in our remarkable city.
We also represent a small group of contemporary artists working in different media, and The Gallery Collection specializes in Brooklyn and New York-related vintage art, design-related works in different media, and has a strong concentration of mid-century and modernist art.
